Why is there Evil?
The existence of evil is incompatible with the all-powerful, all knowing, all good God. However, the existence of evil is compatible with two forces one good and one evil impacting the world. In this case, it could be argued that God has limited control because two different forces are fighting for control. Maybe God permits evil because he wouldn’t be all good if he fought his own creation. Continuing, in this case of two forces, God can be all knowing and all good but not all powerful since the power is shared.  Although It can be argued that God has most of the power since the world is filled with more good than evil statistically speaking. Not everybody murders, tortures, or steals.  It would make sense that God has most of the power since God created the opposing force.
Maybe this reality is the false reality and the true reality is the afterlife. If that is the case then perhaps evil is an illusion and does not exist. Maybe the real purpose of Earth is for a setting to exam humans’ nature to see where they should be placed in the afterlife.

There are so many possible theories and very few actually concrete answers it is almost impossible to determine the real reason why evil exist if God is all good. Is it possible that he is not all good but the closest to absolute goodness?
