John Vernon- Pollock Film Reaction

After watching the Pollock film, I enjoyed seeing a visual representation of a life of an artist. It is obvious that Pollock has a troubled life and his path of becoming a well-known artist is a bumpy one. Though I enjoyed seeing Pollock’s thought process and I enjoyed seeing his determination in creating abstract art. It was interesting to see how people were critiquing him and pressuring him into seeing art had to be a certain way. When he discovered the form of drip painting seem to be the turning point, when he finally felt his art was unique and authentic.
