John Vernon- The Price of the Vision

Currently, I am going through the devotion My Utmost for His Highest by Oswald Chambers. In one devotion, titled The Price of the Vision, Chambers puts in perspective Christians viewpoint and image of God. He references Isaiah 6:1: “In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord…” He emphasizes that our character needs to conform to the likeness of God. If we see from the perspective of our own biases, then we will not realize the importance of relying on God. We must use the external circumstances that God grants us to draw on internal purification. If we see eye to eye with God’s vision, then will better see the kingdom of God.
