John Vernon- Thoughts on Ritual Participation

Through ritual participation, there is a specific purpose wanting to be accomplished. Rituals are part of a specific culture or religion that imitates the culture’s teachings and stories important to it. Through performance or presentation, such as paintings, we try to perceive the art form’s nature and substance. In both approaches, one is trying to find the best way to understanding the truth in searching for beauty. Whether you find beauty in music, art, dance, etc, each art form and its presentation is supposed to move you in some way.
